About the Show

Why this show exists.

People carry more than anyone can see. Many stay quiet because they don’t want to add weight to anyone else. This podcast opens the door for honest talk, shared pain, and shared growth. You hear stories that help you feel less alone. You hear proof that change is possible. You hear people who did the work and found a way forward.

Mission Statement

This isn’t scripted reality television. This is real life; unscripted, unfiltered, and fully yours.

After the Anchor Podcast is a space for people who’ve lived through hard things, faced themselves, and decided to do the hard work anyway. It’s not about what happened before, it’s about what comes after. We bring together voices who’ve broken generational cycles, called out their own patterns, and turned survival mode into something softer, stronger, and more honest. The ones who said, “I don’t want to live like this anymore” and meant it. We’re not here to dwell in pain. We’re here to talk about what works. What’s real and what’s still hard. We’re here to make healing visible and maybe even a little fun.

After the Anchor Podcast will take you along on our travels, connecting with the world’s most unexpected experts; the ones who’ve lived through it. Not the kind with perfect résumés, but the kind with receipts. The ones who didn’t think they could keep going, but did and now have something real to share. But don’t worry we aren’t going to fly blind, I have experts too!

After the Anchor Podcast is about transformation. It’s about choosing life when it’s hard. It’s about reclaiming your voice, your worth, and your truth. This is the kind of reality that matters.

Healing outloud, healing messy, healing together.
